How to Log Past Activities (Backdate Entries) in REPSLog
Sometimes you may need to log activities that happened in the past, such as a task you completed in April but forgot to record until today. REPSLog makes it easy to backdate entries so your records stay accurate.
Can I Backdate Entries?
Yes! REPSLog fully supports backdating. This means you can log an activity today and assign it the date when it actually happened, not just the day you logged it.
How to Backdate an Entry
Open the Add Entry screen in REPSLog.
Use the date picker to select the actual date the activity was performed — you can choose any date in the past.
Fill in the rest of the details and save.
The entry will now display the performed date (the date you selected) in your log.
(Note: In the backend, REPSLog also records the date and time the entry was created, but this is not shown in your activity list.)
Viewing Backdated Entries
When you add a new entry, it will first appear at the top of your list.
After refreshing, entries are automatically reordered into calendar order (oldest to newest).
If you add entries from a previous year, you’ll need to use the date filter in both the Overview and Entries screens to see your total hours for that year.
